I have used AH WC and extensive care provided to my mother in law in the last 12 months and rate overall about a 4.5. On this visit which involved removing wet (leaky shower bag)my foot surgery (Advent) cast and splinting to last until Monday when I could get Dr Lannon's staff to re-cast. First female staff was not adequately trained to remove my cast, was carving shallow lines top to bottom of cast with little progress. Second female staff was trying to verbally instruct. I said that I wanted them to switch out. Second girl was definitely better, but clearly inexperienced in my opinion. I offered to assist with verbal feedback as to when the cuts were deep enough and did so with some additional helpful comments about how to "feel when the tool had cut through" and to proceed down the cast

I was at the ER on 7/5/25 at about 8:30 pm. Stitches were taken by a first year resident and it was horrible and lots of blood lost. Very horrible service. We were there 8pm Doctor came to see me at 1 am and first year resident was taking stitches and he didn’t know how to take stitches. Blood started squirting on wall and everywhere. I will send wall pics. Very unsatisfied with your services.

We were both disappointed that the first entry did not discover the actual cause of Anice’s vomiting and low sodium levels causing her release from the hospital wit a subsequent admittance TWO DAYS LATER, which revealed the extensive infection of her appendix AND associated organs. Although that failure and “misdiagnosed” as SOLELY low sodium, the Hospital staff on both tours and both stays performed flawlessly. They were not only trained in their specialty, but rather were selected for their internal personality, which helped cause their extremely valuable care for their patients. Although my wife and I have not had a stay in a hospital in 50 years or more, we could not have asked for better care, with the exception of the original diagnosis, that probably should have included a second

We had to bring my daughter to the emergency room after she broke her wrist, and the care we received was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff was kind, attentive, and reassuring. The doctors and nurses explained everything clearly, treated her gently, and made sure her pain was well managed. They also took the time to answer all my questions, which meant so much in a stressful moment. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism we experienced—truly outstanding care.

When I arrived at Advent Health ER, I was in a lot of pain. Since they were out of wheelchairs, one of the guards at the door took my hand & arm to walk me in to register while my husband parked our car. Shortly someone arrived with a wheelchair. I was taken into triage and placed in a room quickly. Absolutely every person—nurses, doctor, lab personnel & technicians—were caring while being efficient and professional. A CT Scan helped them diagnose my condition, two prescriptions were called in and my release papers were completed promptly. Both my husband and I have had caring & excellent care in your hospital in the ER as well as inpatients. We are thankful to have your wonderful hospital and staff close to home—no long trips into Tampa!
