My dad came in for a “Mild heart attack” different health care professionals label it differently .. so lets say chest pain and high blood pressure. Team is nice but NO ONE communicates w/each other.. they all come back to ask the same question the last person asked, different numbers are given for results by different people. They want to admit him for “Mild heart attack for at least 3days but make him share a room w/others. They don’t want family to sleep w/him. Not everyone are found of hospitals, let alone want to stay by themselves. He get no privacy in the course of 3days and we had to ask how will he clean himself because no one expressed until asked. Our two-year-old daughter has complex medical needs and is hospitalized frequently—about once a month, to be transparent. She is often admitted to the pediatric floors and pediatric ICU. This hospital is well established and intentional about assigning patients based on acuity and nursing experience. The level of vigilance in these units, especially for medically complex children like my daughter, is unmatched. What stands out most is the communication and the genuine willingness to listen to parents who are advocating for their children. That kind of partnership is truly commendable. So the first pictures and video is supposed to be a ropa vieja with Arroz con Gandules. I only know cooking Spanish so that's all I can write but basically it's pot roast with rice and beans. Well besides the rice and beans being sort of dry and no flavor as long as you didn't taste it, looked okay. Then you get to the ropa vieja, a beautiful version of pot roast but not this one I'm not sure if the tickets got messed up and somebody said I have dysphasia but it definitely had been through a blender maybe once maybe twice maybe a buffalo chopper, maybe a VCM I'm really not sure but break out the straws baby cuz you're slurping this one up! I took my daughter to this ER and had a fabulous experience. Everything was clean, doctors and nurses were exceptional, compassionate and kind to both me and my daughter. They decided to admit her and that is where the excellent care came to a screeching halt. She was admitted to the 4th floor and the room was utterly disgusting. Floors were gross, bathroom gross, the recliner for me to sleep in didn’t work, freezing cold in the room but couldn’t get the heat to work, dirty walls and paint peeling all over. But worse than the disgusting room was the disgusting care my daughter was given. She had severe pain that was promptly attended to in the ER, but not once admitted to this floor. She was in extreme 10/10 pain for over 3 hours before she was given anything to deal with this pain. The

He was very kind, attentive, and professional throughout the time he attended to me. He made me feel comfortable and well taken care of.
