update: so we finally get into the office after seeing him for an EEG 2 weeks ago and then taking my co-pay and making us come back for the main appointment taking our co-pay again. Now Dr Lee states he does not specialize in his diagnosis and tells me that he doesn't have the diagnosis to previous doctor told him he has. After seeing him for two minutes. Why was he scheduled with the doctor that doesn't specialize in his diagnosis when that is what I asked. Dr Lee was rude and unsympathetic to my child. This is the worse office I have ever been to. I am so frustrated. It took me months to get an appointment. I confirmed the appointment via my app and realized it was a different time. It was supposed to be 3pm and it was changed to 1pm. To begin with when I initially contacted the office to schedule an appointment I called four times and left four voicemails in a period of 3 days and no one returned my call. I kept calling and finally was able to schedule an appointment. Then I was supposed to have received some forms over the mail and bring them to the appointment; and I only received half of the forms. At the appointment Mark was exceptional and made my daughter and myself feel very comfortable; therefore I have no complaints about him. However, I was instructed by Maria to schedule a virtual appointment for the results. I was never explained that my 11 year old daughter had to be present in order for the physician to provide the results; and maybe like Maria stated as she told me that i had to reschedule " well, i mean

I gave them a one star because I have to give theme something to be able to write a review. I have to say that Dr Nitzmari Melendez Vazquez is the worst. Unprofessional and un human. After more than a year waiting to see her she didn’t accept my daughter because she has a strict policy of 10 min late and we arrived 11 minutes late. She has no idea what we had to go through to be there and she didn’t accept my daughter for being there one minute later than what her policy says. Only god knows how much my daughter is going through. I wasn’t late because I wanted to I was late because we had a though morning with everything we had to deal With this morning. After calling the office various times to schedule an appointment for my daughter they tried to force me to see Dr Melendez, which we have seen before and she is a horrible doctor. Josefina who was the person scheduling the appointment couldn't care less! She told me since my daughter saw that horrible doctor once she has to see her every time! Unbelievable!! Advent health do better!!!

Heaven forbid due to unforeseen circumstances and uncontrollable events you arrive late, you don't get seen! under twenty minutes? Traveling OVER an hour, with my disabled child and being greeted with "you're late" is unnecessary. Having to speak to someone "to see" if we will be seen when there was no one else there for an appointment that would have been a few minutes IF that was disheartening. Then to say next appointment will be in March of next year!? To an already scary situation to be met with no compassion is disgusting and uncalled for. May whomever I dealt with and the doctor not have to experience such ugliness in an already difficult time. I refuse to go to any Advent Health Provider since having to deal with such ugliness.
