AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Candler

My mom and I had a wonderful experience at Advent Health Candler. My mom, who is 85, met with Dr. Malpani, who was incredible. She is brilliant, sensitive, intuitive, kind, careful, gracious, and full of good energy. Dr. Malpani's assistant, whose name may be Alicia, was also wonderful. I feel so lucky that my mom can establish herself as a new patient with Dr. Malpani. Wonderful! Highly recommend.

Pa Vesna Francis is the most amazing health care specialist in the universe if it was based on my experience going on 3 yrs+. She really cares about her patients, one on one pure love. A++++🌹

Ugh, looking for new PCP - although probably just a waste of time with the world class joke "healthcare" here has become. My PCP can only see me 1x a year for my annual "physical", which is just labwork & 5 min "how ya feeling" chat for $500. Otherwise, my Dr is NEVER available. Silly me, didn't know I'm supposed to schedule my sick visits a year in advance. Sorry I'm not that good at planning my illnesses in advance. 🙄 Not been back in over a year because it's pointless and a waste of my time. Recently tried to refill a Rx for my kidney med because dealing with kidney stones again. Was told no refill until I see the Dr. Wow!! That's some real genius. Avoid Advent at Candler. 1) Just when i started needing actual care for an injury and symptoms of an illness, my doctor there dropped me like a hot potato. Truly mind boggling. Just getting around to placing reviews on the sites: but it's a big, big thumbs down. And I'm not the only one: as of this writing there are 25 total reviews here and 13 of them are Big-Negative. That should tell you more than the average star-ranking. Over 50% of these reviewers had such a bad experience that they bothered to show up here and warn others. Additional negative experiences I had: 2) They turned an annual wellness visit (usually covered by my insurance 100%) into a $450 bill, by simply asking me about past (non-wellness issues) symptoms and how i was faring. ​I do not recommend Andrea Frost. I saw her for six months, and she never got to the bottom of my health issues. She dismissed my concerns, attributing everything to my weight and anxiety. Additionally, her nurse is the most unprofessional I’ve encountered; at every appointment, she made me repeat my weight back to her to 'make sure we’re on the same page,' which felt unnecessary and degrading. I’ve since moved to a care team at Pardee, where I am finally receiving the proper diagnosis and respect I deserved from the start.
