AdventHealth Medical Group General Surgery at Davenport

Would leave 0 stars but it wont let me. First its a hospital not a freaking prison wow gotta have an ID just to walk through the doors and when you ask questions they surround you like a bunch of thugs. You people suck whoever the security people are hope you all get fired. Do you need more training on how to deal with the public instead of being goons like that.

My grandmother had surgery here yesterday. The center was out of Versed, Demerol, and liquid Valium and yet they still continued to perform surgery on people who were awake during their procedure. She woke up sobbing and screaming in pain and the nurse told her to ‘stop’ and to ‘keep her voice down’. We were given no discharge instructions, her discharge paperwork isn’t signed by anyone, and she wasn’t sent home with extra wound dressings even though she was bleeding through the first dressing. I cannot believe that the anesthesiologist or the doctor, Dr Tom Porter, didn’t refuse to do the surgery in a place that didn’t have what was required for a smooth procedure.
