AdventHealth Medical Group Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Celebration

Disappointed. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, and they recently did a colonoscopy and found out I was indeed with Crohn's. I tried to file FMLA with them, but they said they don’t do that. Tyler Gjesdahil kept denying it.  Which is weird because I had a colonoscopy procedure with them that showed my symptoms. The supervisor, Betsy, was very rude and unprofessional; she didn’t want to hear me, so she started yelling, and because she didn’t like to hear what I was saying, she just hung up. Very unprofessional place; will not return.

Incredibly disappointed with my experience with this entire office and especially Dr. Lepane. After putting me through a colonoscopy in 2020 I was still having many GI issues and more tests revealed gastroparasis. She immediately wanted to blame cannabis. Said that was causing all my problems and I needed to stop completely to rule it out. Well given that’s my main management for pain and nausea and knowing these issues existed before I ever started smoking I wanted to look into alternatives. She refused so I obviously found a new doctor. This office refused to give me my medical records by email or mail the only option was me coming in to the office even though I explained I lived 2+ hours away and being chronically ill and disabled I couldn’t just drive up there to collect records. When

Three people at the front desk (two of them free) but only one admitting patients resulted in unnecessary delays for check in. The person scheduling procedures gave me dirty looks when I insisted on them being done soon, not four months away as she was assuring me was the only option. Do you know anyone who would be happy waiting four months for a critical care evaluation? This lady, Veronica Rodriguez, then sends me an email with a work order without any text, no instruction in the least of what it was or what was I to do. The office manager needs to train front line employees better.

Had Hemorrhoids surgery with Dr Smith, R. The office staff including managers are very bad to deal with. They were rude and had a bad attitude that they had to respond to my complaint that its been 28 hrs and counting since my first call advising them I was running out of pain medication. Im calling them pulling my hair out in pain and they are telling me they are doing all they can to send the meds to the pharmacy. In this day and age it should take 12 calls to the Dr. office to get a prescription sent. Still not resolved!! They still haven’t filled it! Procedure and Dr was great. Its too bad for that clinical team!!
