AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Maitland

I just changed my PCP to this office. I called because I have severe pain in my upper leg area and wanted to see a dr/ nurse in person or via video to avoid going to the Emergency Room. The receptionist said no one was available not even in between patients. I've never had a PCP that was like this and didn't make an effort to help me. I'm very disappointed because now I have to look for another PCP.

Dr Waldheim office doesn't really pay attention to expired meds or supplies. I've checked their items in drawers while I waited with my father in a room for about an hour. He needs to retire or shut down the office

At first I thought Advent was an acceptable medical care provider but after having dealt with them more than once and how they seem to be a monopoly I no longer care for there brand of care I thought they were a not for profit organization? You could fool me once, but no longer. They are greedy, greedy, greedy. For this PCP, I have never seen a Dr. only the NP. She is pleasant but over worked and possibly overwhelmed at what she has to take on. Advent needs to remember the golden rule of their religious philosophy for their business model. It doesn’t jive with what We The People receive.

Dr. Waldheim is a kind and patient man who cares about you! He really listens and gives you the chance to explain your thoughts, feelings, and ask questions. You get quality care and a caring physician! They also have Saturday appointments. Able to get an appointment within the week when its not urgent, and they were very helpful when I was sick, managed to fit me in for an appointment the same day!

Dont apply here unless youre white. This is my 100th time applying for advent health. I just recently moved to the orlando area and applied for a document imaging specialist ( a job that i clearly qualified for). Then, just 2 days after my application, I got an email saying that I was not selected. I think, there is foul play here. Im sure they probably looked up my facebook and didnt agree with my race. But its ok. If this is how they operate i cannot imagine how they treat their minority patients
