Let me be honest, I was born at Orlando Health and worked there for 10 years, so I could have been biased before coming in, however…… My experience from entering the parking lot to exiting the parking lot superseded all expectations this past Sunday. I had an outpatient imaging appointment and staff from the 2 front desk areas were professional, but Douglas and Suzanne took home the win. I was nervous but Douglas walked me through each and every step being very descriptive about the procedure and Sue was super thorough. Outside of my normal anxiety I was not worried because they shared knowledge and much patience with me. I was recently admitted from the ER and had the most pleasant experience from the moment we walked in. The physicians were amazing , knowledgeable , kind and understanding with compassion. They took their time and explained everything. The nursing staff was top notch along with the room attendants as well. There was not one person who showed any evidence of having a bad day or a sour attitude. The food was edible but easy to order my choices on day 2&3 . I hate to say I will be back but when I need medical care urgently again will definitely go to this location.

I recently spent three days in the hospital at Florida Hospital Lake Underhill for emergency surgery. I have lived in Orlando my whole life and this hospital has been known to have a bad reputation. However, a total tranformation has taken place there. I was in a great amount of pain coming in. Each staff member I encountered was kind, considerate and caring. They each cared for my needs with detail and compassion. The aides, the nurses, the doctors, the chaplain, transportation, food service, house keeping and the surgeons were all outstanding and I cannot recommend this facility enough. Brought my wife to the hospital do to heart discomfort the nurse and doctor, housekeeping was amazing. They do morning prayer witch we love .and im here for my wife and they treat me like a guess what a change from 10 year ago. Other hospital should take training with this hospital staff.

I had a great experience during my hospital stay. The staff and nurses were caring, professional, and always made sure I was comfortable. Everything was clean and well-organized. I’m very thankful for the excellent care I received.
