AdventHealth Centra Care Winter Park

My experience was very good from the moment I made appointment ( late evening) location less than a 5 minutes walk to my house, the professionalism of everyone from the moment I walked in the building, called to the back,seen by the doctor,til my exit. Great place great experience. I needed to have stitches removed.

All personnel were briefly and competent. Enjoyed the ladies at the front desk who made me feel very welcomed. The nurse who took my vitals was pleasant and worked quickly. The nurse practitioner was confident and caring. These folks were all excellent at their jobs. I can recommend them without any reservations and would not hesitate to return if necessary in the future.

Amazing staff! I got an appointment for this morning and they got me in right away. Also the staff who had to test me for strep were so sweet and professional even though I was having a hard time with the test. After that, the doctor was very direct and timely! I will go back to this location in the future.

If you have insurance and are using your policy for a visit here, pls know your policy well: your deductibles, your max out of pocket, your co-pay (if any) before you arrive. This facility will claim they have to collect a co-pay regardless of your plan activity, even if you can prove this is not required and even if you can prove you have met all your out of pocket max. And after your insurance covers the visit at 100%, this location will not refund you back or help you get the money back. We are dealing with this problem now. This facility makes it very difficult hoping you get tired of asking and calling. So best for you to go to another location (plenty of other advent health emergency care places in the area) where the staff knows what they are doing and no one charges you unneces

I went in with an appointment and it took 2 hours to be seen while walk-ins who arrived after me were seen and discharged before me. My issue was far less serious than I was afraid it would be. Presumably because of that, I was made to feel like I wasted David Medina’s time. He rolled his eyes at me when we discovered that my issue was just a pulled muscle. And then told my boyfriend (who accompanied me due to my severe anxiety around doctors/hospitals) that he wanted to hit me, but since he wasn’t allowed, he wanted my boyfriend to hit me more often instead. I shouldn’t have to say this, as I hope all medical professionals (as well as human beings in general) know this by heart, but domestic abuse is not a joke and not something to poke fun about, especially to someone you’re medically t
