AdventHealth Centra Care Lakeland

Went to the advent health on US 98. Excellent service. Dr and staff were really nice and listened to all of my concerns. I love dr. Levy Sanchez! He is so comforting, sweet and caring. This place is also really clean. They got me in and out for my appointment pretty quickly. I'm actually thinking of switching so they can be my primary care Dr. I always have such a pleasant experience when I go there.

Check-in on line was easy. Staff were polite. The provider was very busy, but once he was able to see me was very professional took his time provided me with a lot of education and what I needed to look for in terms of having influenza a. He prescribed Tamiflu and I must admit by day two I was feeling much better so grateful for this Urgent Care facility. I’ve always received great care. I choose to go here over Watson Clinic because I can make an appointment.

I have to say this is the quickest I've been in and out of a doctor's office. Everyone was quick to get me to the back and be seen and back out the door. Rather than spending hours waiting to wait, the process was seamless. Only reason this is a four star review was the guys at the front could have been in a better mood and not been so snippy. They seemed like they didn't want to be at work and had better things to do. Very negative attitudes. Looking past that, the doctor and nurses were great. Front desk could take some hospitality classes.

I did not have a good experience. The Dr was just a few minutes after waiting more than 30 minutes for her. Then, I explained that I have been sick for 2 weeks and taking medication over the counter. Also I told all my symptoms like I lost my voice for already 5 days, that I wasn't able to swallow well, had problems to breath. My ear started to hurt too. She looked quickly to my mouth and said everything looks good. Don't understand because my voice was not well and I was in a lot of pain. She didn't do any test. I try to ask if I should go to work because I am a teacher and I didn't know if what I had was contagious. Her respond was " I don't have a magical pill. What do you want? A doctor's note? I was referred to this Advent Health Centra Care location in N. Lakeland by Watson Clinic's Urgent Care in N. Lakeland. Since Urgent Care had a 2 and 1/2 hour wait time, I decided to give Advent Health a try. I first spoke to Daniel on the phone to see what their wait time was. When he told me they had one person waiting to be seen, I drove right over there. After checking in with Ramone, I was the next patient to be seen. Brandi (sp?) was very friendly as she took my vitals. I learned about their Epic computer program that allowed them to connect to Watson Clinic and my list of medications. Next, I saw Holly, PA.
