AdventHealth Centra Care Lake Mary

On Tuesday, December 9th, I visited Advent Health Centra Care Lake Mary. The visit was extremely pleasant and efficient. I was pleasantly greeted by Kyair at Reception. She guided me through the kiosk intake process and shortly after I was taken in by the MA, Karla. Karla was also very friendly and efficient as she took my vitals and explained what would happen next. I was then seen by the PA, Mena. He was pleasant and took the time to explain everything that he was concerned about. My exit was a warm goodbye from Rita. There were no billing issues or paperwork to review. She just wished me happy holidays and said goodbye. Overall I would highly recommend this Facility because, not only was I in and out quickly, the Staff performed their jobs well and made sure I was comfortable a

First impressions matter, and the front desk team at AdventHealth urgent care truly set the tone. Rita and Kyair were both incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Their kindness and empathy immediately put me at ease, something that means a lot when you’re not feeling your best.The nurse was friendly, great at listening and remembered my name. The doctor was professional personable and made a great connection. I really appreciated that he gave me a choice of picking up my prescriptions right there or sending them to my preferred Pharmacy. I was honestly surprised that they offer On-site medication pick up. It made the entire process so easy and saved me another trip. Way to make it easy! I unfortunately had to make a visit early this morning, due to pain in my ear. As I walked into your facility I was greeted by Melissa and Rita who smiles started my healing process. And a warm welcome from them both. My check in was effortlessly completed by Melissa. My 2 nurses (Cristina- Katherine) were comforting. My PA Aziz, was very patient and professional. He explained my care/treatment without rushing me out. I came in feeling as I may have been just a patient and a number and left feeling that my health mattered to the staff. On Monday, January 12, 2026, my 16 year old daughter visited this facility because she had flu symptoms. When she was seen by Tamika she was asked "Why did you come here (without a mask)if you knew you had the flu?" Then she proceeded to say "I don't want to be sick, I think one of my patients got me sick last week." This is a child who isn't feeling well. Where is the compassion? The standard of care? And what an outrageous question to ask... Clearly, she needed medicine and as a high school student- she needed a "doctor's" note. If the mask was an issue, it should not be "optional". Full disclosure, I think it is nice to wear a mask if you are sick , too- but maybe there is a better way to say it, especially to a kid. I love this draw side this center. I’m starting to finish the front desk. Makes the whole place when you enter Jarie and Maggie are most friendly and they are the face of the center so kudos to Kamala and her staff. Thank you.
