Advena Living of Bonner Springs

Not a fan of this facility. It is constantly dirty and smells. Staff are more worried about playing on their phones than taking care of their residents. When a resident has hit their call button it either goes unanswered or they are left to wait for a long period of time. Residents are often left to lay in their own urine and feces for longer than what they should. Resident rooms are constantly dirty, smelly, with sticky floors. Residents are left to lay on bare mattresses. This facility is always under staffed. The staff that is there are from an agency which means the staffing is inconsistent and there is someone new everyday. When a problem does arise and you voice your concerns the excuse is always, "I don't know today is my first day" or "I'm only agency." The food that is provided to

I feel like this is a much better place than it used to be. There are more food choices and since there is a new management team things are becoming more consistent.

This facility is very dirty. When you get in, all i smell was bad odor (urine) even in the dining room, sticky floor, residents rooms is very dirty with stuff all over. The DON singled me out going after me (Because I’m agency and I get paid) coz of charting there little iPad wasn’t working, the sad thing is that she never asked her in house staff about it. Agency Staff think twice before going to Advena of BonnerSprings!

The kitchen staff does an excellent job at catering to the residents needs and wants.
