Been coming since the summertime and never had an issue with the receptionist or the doctor. Even though it’s far for me I can use the F train to the last stop. Since they are courteous I am willing to travel.

When you first walk in to Check in, the reception staff are very unprofessional, and lack customer service. They send you to different windows or sections, ie. Section H, J, to check in then you get the run around. There’s no focused section for Check in. They should be retrained. The other medical assistants do not assist you when needed. They always in a hurry. The wait time is horrible. The only reason I continue at this location is for my Ophthalmologist, Dr. Friedman. He is very pleasant and thorough, and me is very knowledgeable about his profession.

I traveled over an hour and a half to the AdvantageCare location in Jamaica, Queens—because a receptionist on the phone told me this was where I could be seen. When I arrived, I waited at the front desk for 10 minutes with no one there. When the receptionist finally showed up, she asked what I was waiting for. I explained I’d been standing there to check in, and instead of helping, she got sarcastic and snapped that it had only been three minutes—completely dismissing me and speaking in an incredibly rude and condescending tone. I had already checked in via the app, but since she seemed annoyed with me from the start, she started nitpicking, saying I hadn’t actually checked in. My app clearly said I had. She told me I had to sign something the app never prompted me to sign, so I did. The

Additionally, tardy arrivals incur late filing fees, while punctual arrivals are still subjected to excessive waiting.
