I have been going to Kim Gustafson and at first it was great but this last year she has been holding my medication hostage. She started with not wanting to prescribe my estrogen and Progresteron until I had a sonogram which had been done but the results went to my primary care. Now she is asking for a sonogram before prescribing my medication. This is always told to me by her nurse. She needs to educate her self on the medical updates of the estrogen and progesteron that have recently been updated. She is still in the 1970s. Dont go to her. She is stubborn and impssible to talk to.

This has to be one of the best women’s wellness centres I have ever been too. The staff is friendly and make sure you fully understand what issues you may be facing. They also let you know what procedures you will need and why and how they are going to be of benefit to you. They don’t just leave you with question marks like other providers. Kim was one of the people that attended to me today and she was so lovely throughout the whole process, I forget the other ladies name but she too was sweet and ensured that am comfortable throughout my visit here. I have been with doctor Patronella since her office was still at the Memorial Hermann Professional Building. The service at this location is terrible. I rarely able to get someone on the phone. I recently booked an appointment for my daughter for a well women check up and was charged as a doctor visit. I came by the office to talk to the office manager and was told to get the reimbursement and that did not happen. Keep calling and leave the voicemail and no one called back. It's too bad as the doctor is very nice, just the service at her office is bad. I have to find a new doctor.

This issue happened Dec. 2017: At first this office was great; however, over time the office staff became less concerned when I would call about issues with prescriptions & wellness issues. They rarely allowed me to speak to the doctor and was routed to a nurse who just said make an appointment. When making an appointment anytime they said do it online and would not help me over the phone. I get that portals are a new way to go but if I’m on the phone with other issues and would like to request an appointment I should be able to. I did leave this office and went to one that is more satisfying but I did like Allison as a doctors but the way of business was not effeicient.

I have always had a good experience with Kim Gustafson and her nurse.
