Advanced Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine

I have an insurance that doesn't require a referral for any specialist. I've previously went to another pulmonologist who didn't require a referral and was able to get paid without an issue. All of my other specialists don't require a referral and they get paid. Upon speaking with the billing woman I explained that I don't require one. She kept asking for the first 4 letters of my member number. She sounded ancient and stuck in her ways. She stated the insurance won't pay them without one. I called my insurance company and confirmed this was 100% false. Upon calling back I asked for the office manager. It sounded like the same woman answering the phone representing herself as the office manager, might not have been. I was put on a long hold. Upon picking up I explained that she was incorre

Tried to call and book an appointment, front desk staff are RUDE, insurance lady just as rude. Refused to check to see if they took my insurance. DO BETTER DOC, your staff are killing your practice.

Some of these one star reviews are so out-of-pocket this doctor has never, and staff has never been rude always handle the problem with ease great Doctor and staff

I was recommended by my cardiologist and when I called and said I have Cigna PPO, I was told we don't take Cigna and they hung up. They are on the Cigna website so I called back for clarification and thankfully got a different staff member, while the other one was yelling "WE DON'T TAKE CIGNA." THANK you kind staff member who answered my question. I just called Cigna to let them know how rudely I was talked to and to confirm they are 3rd on Cigna's providers for this area !! Get a new staff Dr. Bourghli !!

I like Dr. Bourghli I think he is excellent. His staff however is unprofessional and rude. Phone calls made with questions for the doctor I've been told on multiple occasions they will get the answer and call me back only to never get a reply. They don't care.
