Doctor excellent.caring, great surgeon. My sister and I go at the the same time. They treated us with respect and. I kindness.

Came for an appointment that was scheduled only to find out that they do not accept my insurance even though I gave all the information at the time I made the appointment. Receptionist was courteous but the optician was not. Derogatory tone and spoke like she was doing me a favor. Doesn’t matter what your title is, being courteous is not above anyone.

Dr.Barry,went above and beyond for this patient. He came into the office on Sunday,Mother’s Day because I had an issue with my eyes. This is a Dr. who cares about his patients. I have always gotten excellent service from the staff as well. You can choose any ophthalmologist you please but if you live in the Edison area this office is a great choice.

I’ve been a patient of Advanced Ophthalmology for years. Dr. Schanzer is terrific and the staff is courteous. I’ve had only positive experiences.

Staff is terrible and they are not clear about what insurance they take. Went to the office for Contact lense fitting and number for glass, despite charging the insurance company they are charging me Refraction exam too ( to me it is checking the eye #) and that is for what we went for BEWARE BEWARE
