Advanced Hearing Group

We had an amazing experience at Advanced Hearing Group in Scottsdale. I brought my 4 year old in to have his ears cleaned, and from the very first visit, the doctor and staff were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding with him. They were honest and upfront that they might not be able to get everything out in one visit and they were absolutely right. It ended up taking three visits, but they never rushed him, never pressured us, and never charged extra. Each time, they treated my son with so much care, encouragement, and patience, which made a huge difference for a young child who can be nervous. I’m hard-of-hearing at birth. This means that I constantly wear hearing aids and have had to get my ear wax removed as a result since I started wearing hearing aids at a few months old. That being said, I’ve had different locations performing wax removals over the years but I have to say that this location has been the most pain-less and consistent in that regard far. This practice is relatively small to where you can see that the employees are very familiar with each other which allows me to recognize people in turn (which I’m god awful at). I have tried other locations but for the time being I have settled on this practice. I find that the kind atmosphere and the knowledgeable people are exactly what I needed.

I I had the pleasure to be seen by Dr. Fitzsimmons for my sudden tinnutis. She was friendly, down to earth and compassionate. She explained my results clearly and what my next steps in my care should be. The office was clean, calm and bright and the front desk girl was very sweet. It was a pleasant experience overall.

Professional, courteous. Considerate and on time. Dr. Andrea also guided me to what hearing aid would work best for my hearing needs and insurance limits. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Amanda Blackburn-Fitzsimmons is my audiologists for 6 years , recently having my appointment to update hearing. Hearing is very important for many reasons ; for me I am 75 and in school at ASU and don't want to miss anything to-do with my assignments. Next hearing loss along with vision are the main contributors to Dementia/ Alzheimer's. Grateful Dr. Amanda fitted me with a discreet hearing aid-- although I do not care if anyone knows I need one , I can hear! That is most important!
