Addison Animal Hospital

I really want to take a moment to brag about Compassion Veterinary Hospital (formerly Addison Animal Hospital). My sweet baby, Cinder had a growth pop up on her eye a few months ago. As a precaution, I wanted to get it look at as she has a history of cancer. The first place I went to was Suwannee Oaks, Cinders former vet. I was quoted about $780 to have the spot removed. For me personally, that’s a steep amount to just come up with on the spot, so I decided to look around. I called Compassion and scheduled an office visit. Talk about a great first impression. I’m a busy gal with a full-time job and responsibilities. Taking off work for a vet visit isn’t easy for me. Compassion not only saw Cinder as a patient, but kept her for the day so I didn’t have to take off work, at no extra charge!

My family and I have been taking our dogs and cats to Dr. Addison for over 20 years. At first, it was for convenience as I live less than a mile from Addison Animal Hospital. (I believe they are called Compassion Animal Hospital now, don't quote.me on the exact name, but they answer their phones differently and I've noticed some new staff and I overheard them mentioning the change.) Dr. Addison and his team have saved more than a few of my dogs and cats from various situations, snake bites, animal attacks, random illnesses, etc. Most recently, we had a two year old cat, Casper, go missing for almost two weeks. He finally returned home but had been bitten by something very large on his haunch/tail area, he was very thin, and I didn't think he was going to make it. We took him to Dr. Addiso

I love Dr Andy. He takes great care of my babies. He actually cares for his patients and their owners. They always go above and beyond to make sure you get wonderful care for their babies. I will never use another vet unless it's an emergency and I can't get in here. My baby loves to see the girls in the office.

I would 0/10 recommend Addison Animal Hospital! Took my daughters kitten in bc she had gotten into something , She was shaking , meowing , in visible pain, her back legs weren’t working -they “did blood work , X-rays, the whole 9” charged us 400$ to tell us they didn’t know what was wrong but she would be fine ! My mom explained we didn’t want to bring her home an have her suffer a pass here , esp because of my daughter! They assured us they wouldn’t send her home if she wasn’t going to be okay! She died not even 4 hours later ! After having to suffer all that time. My dad had an issue with his dog a few years back with the exact same thing happening , for other reasons obviously. So disappointed a feel so horrible for our sweet fur baby.
