They are always up to date with the latest veterinary technologies and treatments, but what really stands out is how much they genuinely care. There have been times when I felt completely hopeless about my dog’s health condition, and after speaking with Dr. Boone (the father), he somehow finds a way to extend my pet’s life and improve their comfort. We now live in California and every vet tech we see consistently comments on how calm, easygoing, and cooperative Bruno is during visits. I genuinely believe that temperament was shaped by the positive, caring environment he experienced at Adams Morgan Animal Hospital early on. They were accommodating enough to see both dogs in the same appointment, which made the visit much easier for our family. The staff was gentle with each dog and did not remove them from the room to give shots, which we greatly appreciated. Hands down the best vet I’ve ever had. We’ve been coming here since 2010 with my previous beagle, and we continue to come here 15 years later with our senior beagle. I’ve had dogs all my life and the care, compassion, and attention to detail they provide is top tier. The docs take time to answer our questions and provide clear direction when needed. The office staff, led by Betsy, welcomes us by name and are attentive and patient. The vet techs ask the right questions while making sure Odie is comfortable. Vet care is costly, and that’s true here. However, the level of care and the attention the entire staff gives is worth it.

I have never written a review but I wanted to make sure this team got their flowers. My two cats are patients, and I recently had to part ways with the older one. The entire staff was so incredibly patient, kind, and answered any and all questions I had (no matter how irrational they were). Knowing that the folks here took care of my sweet girl and have continued to take care of her even after she has passed has brought me so much comfort.
