ACL Lab – Patient Service Center

This place is definitely not a place to take kids to. We came in with my 2 year old son to get his blood work done on standing order. The woman with tatoos on her arms who did not introduce to us took us looked like she was doing us a favor. She stuck the needle in there but no blood came out. She started moving the needle around with no success. My 2 year old son is screaming from pain. Then I told her to get the needle out. After which she says come back some other day. This is not the first time this happened here but she made no attempt to even try another arm and acted like she did not want to be doing this. Is she really trained to do bloodwork?

We had a great experience bringing our 9 month old here for some allergy blood work. She was swaddled up, and Brooke took her time to make sure she found a vein. It was quick and as painless as possible for baby blood work!

Do not take your kids to get blood work done here. The nurses here are happy to grab a needle and poke even if they dont feel a vein and when they "miss" they will wiggle up, down, left, right, in, out and around trying to find this vein they supposedly felt. The ladies working the front desk are horrible trying to escalate the situation by watching you when you try to pack up your things so that you can leave. Apparently as a "courtesy" they watch you. At least that's what the woman who wouldn't leave the room said. She was staying in the room as a courtesy to not leave me alone and when I asked her to leave because she wasn't helping and there was nothing for her to help me with, she refused and said she would call security so that I could vent to them. The online site clearly says open until 5pm. It’s a lie. I leave work early and get there at 440 only to hear they close every day at 440-445. The receptionist states she doesn’t make the web site times. Terrible customer care. Now, I’ve lost money and need to leave work another day, a half hour earlier than today, to by there by 430 or I won’t be seen per the receptionist. Frustrating!!!

That's funny, I've had nothing but the most professional nurses very easy with the needle and never missed. I'm sorry you had a bad day there.
