Accredo Specialty Pharmacy

I wish I could give zero stars. AWFUL. Absolutely inept speciality pharmacy. I work in healthcare and insurance authorizations and the quality of care and professionalism this pharmacy lacks is incredible. My doctor’s office in addition to myself have been calling multiple times a week for three weeks to have my medication provided. Accredo incorrectly provided my name and gender, took over a week and a half to fix their mistake. You ask to speak to supervisor and they try to redirect you and discuss something else to not provide a supervisor. This company should not exist, it is insane for the patients and causes lack of medical care. I have never seen anything like this, I wish Aetna would allow us to use a different speciality pharmacy.

I would give Acredo 0 stars if I could. They are completely incompetent and consistently make false promises over the phone about deliveries arriving at a certain day. Representatives state inconsistent information, and orders are cancelled repeatedly without notification or followup, which is beyond frustrating. Deliveries require numerous phone calls taking hours with reps that don't do what they say they will. I don't know how a company can be so incompetent. If you want anything close to being done, immediately ask to be transferred to at least a level 2 supervisor. Don't waste your time speaking with anyone lower - it will not get done. If at all possible DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

No one knows what they're doing, no one's on the same page, lies are told to patients because no one wants to take accountability. Go anywhere else if possible. Supervisor Shonita (ref# 17609303) has no empathy or care to take responsibility whatsoever. She was so petty to even hang up on me so I couldn't complete the customer care survey. People working in healthcare require empathy and they have none whatsoever. Now I'm late on my medication because careless people decided it was a good idea to run a pharmacy.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one knows anything, ever. Every 3 months I have to spend literally hours on the phone with them to make sure my son’s medication is correctly processed. They’re atrocious and constantly hang up on me and my doctors office when they don’t have an answer. Terrible. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN!!!!!

Wish I could give them negative stars! I’ve been trying to get medication for months. They continue to quote a payment estimate from May 12, 2025 which is incredibly outdated. Then they tell me that I have to call my insurance to have them run the claim. What?!?! How is that my responsibility? If they have the script why don’t they do it?!? I don’t have that expertise! Never in my life have I dealt with this kind of process with a pharmacy. In 2024 there were no issues! Truly agree with others reviews, this place is hurting people!!!!
