Accredited Dermatology Associates

I have a family member who has been a patient at this facility and I am completely appalled at the behavior and lack of care from the so called "nurse" Megan. Her attitude and rudeness towards patients there is beyond disgusting. I've been there multiple times and have heard her talk down to patients and also about the patients. It's a shame someone like this is in the medical profession "caring" for other people and their health. Has anyone else had this experience with her also?

Disappointing and Upsetting. As a past patient, I called to schedule an appointment. The girl who answered the phone became hostile when I questioned an error in my patient record, so I asked to speak to someone else. I was connected with nurse Megan, who supported the girl's contention that my attempt to correct an error in my record was "confrontational", and that I was, therefore "not a good fit for the practice" and so would NOT be scheduled and would have to find another dermatologist, "perhaps in Iowa City or Peoria". My attempts to apologize for any misunderstanding were ignored as nurse Megan went on to state that her decision is FINAL and cannot be questioned. SO shockingly hostile ... Sadly, I really liked my dermatologist, and am now sitting here, utterly stunned - utterly

I saw Dr. Lightfoot about 2 years ago for an issue on my shoulder. She said it was a cyst and that I wouldn’t need to have it removed unless I wanted to or became bothersome. I decided to wait at the time. Fast forward to Summer 2020 and I had called to make an appointment to get the cyst removed. Called and they said they are only taking patients with cancer treatments or serious issues due to Covid. I totally understand she said to call back later that summer, toward August. Called in August And left message, no response. Called again a month later, left message, no response. Then called sometime beginning of 2021…you guessed it NO RESPONSE. Very rude receptionist or whoever answers the phone. Chill. Will never call again or think about going to this place. First impressions are EVERYTHING. i copied the above from another review because i agree. they dont take our insurance. great but when i asked what treatments they offer after that the person said none of our providers are accepting new patients. that did not answer my question at all. and what if they do soon? they lost us as a new patient sadly we need a good dermatologist. many in the qca are not competently using all treatments available leaving limited effective care options. if this clinic is so good they should get a more effective receptionist and hire couple more really good doctors. they could most likely double their business due to low quality care elsew

I went to Accredited Dermatology Associates to have some moles inspected and a growth removed. I was given an appointment with Dr. Lightfoot, and I could not have been happier! The entire staff was very friendly and kept me informed at every step of my procedures. My appointments were prompt, and I did not have to wait at all to get in, which is always nice. Dr. Lightfoot has a wonderful demeanor and is very thorough. She walked me through each step of what she was doing and was very concerned with my comfort. I would highly recommend her!
