I’ve been seeing Dr Nimer for many years.I was having shortness of breath and constantly tired/sleeping. It ended up being blockages ……I now have 2 stents and am back to normal. He is a great physician.Caring and very knowledgeable! He figures out the problem! Staff is super helpful & accommodating……very pleasant practice.

I am very unhappy with this practice. Dr Nimer on November 20,2024 performed a groin stent for 95% blockage. I have an autoimmune disease that causes bleeding with many meds including the blood thinners and aspirin required after this surgery. I called 12/22 to express concern about excessive bleeding and was told they had no providers there and my follow up was 12/30/24. Told me call my primary. I continued to plead my case finally being told the nurse would call me . I still have heard nothing. Another call regarding my concerns have heard nothing from this practice. Their Post Op leaves much to be desired. After my monthly appt I shall be leaving this practice.

Very nice doctor but not progressive in anyway. His treatment plans towards patients is very generic and archaic. My father who is in his late 50’s was seen by him after having a heart Cath w/ stents in the LAD. Me myself working for a group of cardiologist in pasco county would have preferred he went to another doctor but due to him living in Hernando and the situation being an emergency he was attended by Nimer in Oakhill. After 1 year of seeing Nimer I noticed the treatment plan Nimer had him on was not beneficial towards his condition. After reading his progress notes it seemed that he had no idea what treatment to give my father and just went with the same old routine he would give to any patient even though he said my father was a “special case”. Dr Nimer is very tentative, seems to care, wanting figure out what is ur issue. Saved my life while in emergency room having a heart attack & they wanted to send me home, he was the one who knew what to do.

He told my husband to go home and enjoy The best life he could. He said he wouldn’t touch one of his arteries for $1 million. In other words go home and die. We got a new cardiologist and found out that his aorta valve was sticking and he needed to have it replaced. We went straight to the Cleveland clinic in Ohio and they were able to give him three bypasses and a new aorta valve And our insurance paid the whole bill. It’s been several months and my husband is back to normal. Thank you Cleveland clinic, Number one in the country number two in the world for heart problems. Shame on you Dr. Nimer!!
