Accelerated Urgent Care

HONESTLY, (& I’m the first person to call a place out when it’s bad) this urgent care was great! We went in at about 9pm with our 3 month old that was having ear ache symptoms and they were quick , respectful, and helpful. The nurse practitioner was amazing with our baby and was extremely helpful. I truly wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out because she was great. We had tons of questions and she answered all of them with patients and didn’t even seem to be rushing us. The receptionist was even good and so was the girl that took our babies vitals. Not to mention I have Kaiser this was the first time I ever went to an urgent care with having Kaiser and I honestly didn’t even know that urgent care’s accepted Kaiser so that was pretty awesome. Went at a later time so it was not busy but response time was average. I can say all the staff that day from reception to nurse practitioner were all prepared and educated on situations. Would recommend. They took my MediCal insurance too so that was a plus!

My son and I both went cause we were pretty sick. Made an appointment. Got in fast, the doctor looked over both of us and sent meds. Everyone there are always nice, professional. This is my 4th time going and have had no problems. Every visit has been good. No complaints

The front desk upon arrival. The front office staff did not smile and appeared dismissive. Their responses were vague and lacked friendliness. I was with my crying, visibly unwell child, who was very sick. The girl responsible for taking our vitals was exceptionally kind, patient, and displayed genuine care, which was a positive point. Meanwhile, four patients, walked out from the back and left the building, and no one had been called back into the rooms after approximately 45 minutes. I approached the front desk to inquire about the delay and asked when patients would be called back. The staff member there avoided eye contact, seemed indifferent, and replied that she didn’t know, mentioning she had just returned from lunch and that the other provider might also have gone on lunch break.

I am a Veteran that was just turned away from getting urgent care here because the front desk said they "can't verify Tri-care on Sunday's." I have went to Accelerated Urgent Care before because anything is usually quicker than the VA. They have taken my Military insurance before. They have seen me before. They have me in their system. Yet, when I brought my sick 4 year old child in today they acted like they didn't believe I had Tri-care. They told me "Tri-care can't be verified on Sunday's" and denied giving my child medical attention. This is how this place treates Veteran families. I would not recommend going here.
