Accel Research Sites | Deland

I was in their Moderna trial from September 2020 to 2022. The process was very efficient and medically trustworthy (I am a medical doctor). The staff is very friendly and the wait was never too long. I am now in another trial and they have my trust.

This review is two fold - one BAD review and one AMAZING review!! #1 BAD review - I recently did a weight loss study at Accel Research in DeLand and was assigned to Tiffany. My experience with Tiffany was very disappointing - she arrived significantly late to our scheduled appointment without any clear communication. Once there, she seemed very unprepared and lacked basic knowledge I would expect of someone overseeing a research clinical on weight loss. #2 AMAZING Review - I was then assigned to Angela Hammerle to assist with my weight loss journey. I had a WONDERFUL experience with Angela during my visit. She was punctual, incredibly attentive, compassionate, and highly professional throughout my care. I started a clinical research in March at Accell in Deland Fl. The staff is very professional, respectful and attentive. My nurse is Angela Hammerle, she is always professional, answers my questions, takes time to listen to my concerns. Angela and the entire team puts the patient first. Would refer my friends and family to this office for exemplary care.

In January 2025 I enrolled in a clinical research at Accel in DeLand. From my very first appointment until my most recent one in May, I have had nothing but positive interactions with the team. Angela Hammerle was very attentive, very professional and answered all my questions. Scott, the phlebotomist, always kept me laughing and never had an issue when drawing blood. I would highly recommend this office to any of my friends and family that were interested in participating in future clinicals.

They called me and I qualified over the phone. When I drove 40 miles was turned away because the phone rep forgot to ask if I was disability apparently disqualified me. They offered me 25.00 for my time I told her keep it I don't need the money. Train your staff better. That's the first question they asked when I got there. Very disappointed.!!!!
