Acadian Massage Therapy

I have visited a variety of massage therapists over the last two decades of my life, maybe 5-7 different ones—some consistently, some just once in a while. Mandy is by far the most talented masseuse I’ve ever received a massage from. I received a 90 minute Deep Tissue Lite/Hybrid massage. She had a gentle but very thorough and effective touch and techniques to target my problems areas. She is also very friendly and professional. I felt entirely at ease being in her care. I won’t be going to any other masseuse, as long as I live in the Baton Rouge area. I highly recommend her expertise.

I have been a regular client of Mandy's for several years now, and she is not only extremely gifted, but is also a consummate professional and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Her technique, and ability to pinpoint problem areas and trigger points has helped relieve my lower back pain, as well as pain from tendinitis and plantar fasciitis. I have been to quit a few therapists due to my lower back pain. Mandy is the first one that I've found and the last one I'll need to find, that can take care of the issues I deal with. She listens to your individual problems and addresses them effectively. She doesn't just do a routine that she would do to every client. She treats each individual with the special care needed for that particular problem area. I dont think I could have found a better person for the job. I am a former triathlete and someone who has struggled with almost constant back and neck pain for years caused by a combination of scoliosis, poor posture (I work at a computer all day), and a sports injury to my lower neck that eventually required surgery last year. I know pain medication for many is a critical part of their doctor prescribed treatment plan and I don't fault anyone for making the decision to use it. For me though even after my surgery I've always chosen and had success with other mechanisms to manage my pain including stretching, acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage which has always been my go to solution.
