Acadian Family Dentistry

First time seeing the hygienist and dentist at Acadian Dentist. These are the nicest people. The minute I walked in, the front office lady spoke to me very nice and explained what I needed to do. I went to the back and the First Lady did my X-rays. Explained everything she was doing and was very nice. The hygienist came next and she was absolutely the best . Very gentle and knowledgeable. I loved her. Explained everything in detail about what she found and I needed to get done in the upcoming visit. Then I saw the dentist, Dr. Plamer. Very nice, gentle, and knowledgeable. I also loved him. I definitely will be back and encourage family members to go here. Thank all of you for the great hospitality and great care.💕💕💕💕

The entire staff was great from front desk to doctors. I’d like to especially recognize Dr. Marks for her professionalism and expertise. She was extremely kind patient and trusting throughout my dental procedure. 5stars

I had a restoration (filling) done here on Jan 28 that was left with a recessed, open margin. The contour is incomplete, creating a food trap that was not present on my natural tooth. When I called to address this functional failure, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive rather than standing by the quality of their work. An open margin is a major concern that leads to bacteria buildup and secondary decay. I am now having to seek a second opinion and repair from another provider because this office failed to meet the basic standard of care, I won’t be coming back and I’m surprised that this office is rated anything above a 3.

I’ve been going here for years and never experienced the treatment I got from Dr. Melissa Aldy on 9/30/25. Maybe she was having a bad day but the way she was being rude and nonchalant towards me and her clients was very unprofessional. I advised anyone to read all these reviews good before bring you and your family there. Enough is enough and they are not the only dentistry in Baton Rouge.

Very efficient and yet still caring. I strongly recommend Dr. Aldy and her staff for all your dental needs.
