Absolute Dental - W Lake Mead & Jones

Appointment was at 10, I got there early as instructed. Sat in the back for almost an hour and a half while the “root canal specialist” went around and helped everyone else but me. Decided enough was enough and walked to the front counter. Told them I’m leaving because this is ridiculous. Was told oh root canals take a long time, and then was told oh they don’t take long at all. So which is it? Don’t gaslight your patients who already PAID for the procedure before any work was even done. Told them to cancel my appt and I’m leaving because I have to go to work. I was told I had more than enough time and clearly not. Then was offered a doctors note 4 separate times. Thanks but that’s not the point. I was sent to this office by my normal one and everything was just ridiculous. Zero communicat

The doctor seemed nice. The facility was clean. The weight was not long although I went there to get a referral because I have a appointment with my surgeon to remove six of my bottom teeth while the dentist said she doesn’t recommend that and she only wrote on the referral to remove one tooth, I am not sure why the dentist only marked to remove 1 tooth when I told her I wanted all 6 removed to get a bottom denture, so I wasn’t really happy about that. Would’ve really been nice if the dentist would’ve listened and paid attention to my needs, I know they like to try and save teeth, but I know what I feel might work best for me so I really wasn’t satisfied with this visit at all

Definitely not coming back to this location whatsoever. The other location was a lot better on Lake mead and rampart. They explained to me everything what to expect. I came here because the other location referred me for a surgeon to get my teeth extracted. But the moment I came here I was on time for my appointment got called back within 15 minutes but once I was in there I was bombarded with things I didn’t want to do at the moment and was constantly harassed about their payment options. I only wanted what my insurance was going to cover which I needed to use before end of the year. And these guys constantly was pushing things I had said I’d come back and do but they kept insisting. Highly overbooked. waited almost 2 months for my appointment. small lobby with people packed like sardines unable to move around each other , many of us had the same appointment time. Waiting hours just for a consult. Absolute insanity. Schedule better !

I wish I could give negative stars. This office uses bad business practices. The W Lake Mead location... Dr or tech in scrubs was outside the office conversating with a group of people about using/selling nitrous oxide, which was very unprofessional. They severely overbook. There were 20-30 patients waiting to be checked in or called back with only 15 or so chairs in the lobby. We were all just sardined in that tiny lobby standing room only. Also, I didn't get any pre-op instructions. All I was told is that I might get the surgery that day. This place is shady as heck. Please do not get dental treatment here.
