Absolute Care of Allegany

I had the opportunity to tour and meet with the staff at Allegany. They were so nice and accommodating, they truly care about the patients.

This was the WORST experience to put a loved one at. The aides are lazy, (pulled room cords on patients) staff simply don't care, rooms were not cleaned, food is below adequate standards and most of all the "new" Administrator doesn't want to hear or correct problems. Our dad was in a drug stupor mode (no explanation could be given) Extra cost for room phone. Save your loved ones and DO NOT put them here. Went to another facility and 100% improvement.

My fil was there for 2 months they charge a out range price for him to be there and the room he was in was a closet size with a room mate that was rude so instead of paying that out range price mil took him out and bring him home so I was there to help when he wanted to to the bathroom he was fully incontinent that place never check him before we let we him never gave us a good discharge plan . Horrible diaper rash.

This place is so sort staffed !! I believe the floor has been moped once in 2 months. My relative that is there said the food is atrocious !!!! Last week lettuce chicken salad , chicken was still frozen. Tuna noodle, noodles were like glue. For being a small facility, I just can't believe how awful the meals are. She told me " your dogs eat better than us " I'm sure the owners would never put anyone they knew in there. They should have to eat a few meals there .....

My Mother was in for rehab. They said she would be home on Friday. She did Thursday night. No one knew why or how it happened. Place smelled and wa dirty.
