I was here over 2 hours because they were short-staffed. The nurses and other staff were great. My “provider”, Barbara Caldwell, was about as unpleasant as I’ve experienced in a healthcare worker. She said I was hollering at her and that she felt afraid. She proceeded to look in my ears with the otoscope which has never been jabbed in my ear so far. Then as she felt my neck, it was pretty rough. So if you upset her somehow, she’ll work it out on the backend.

Barbara Caldwell treated my husband this evening at the PlusCare clinic. After waiting 2 hours (due to understaffing), my husband asked her to also take a look at our 6-year-old daughter. She refused and stated he would need to check her in separately. My husband voiced his frustration that this was not communicated to him when he checked in because of the long wait. Barbara Caldwell apparently took his tone and frustration personally and stated that she wasn't even supposed to be his provider, was incredibly rude and said that my husband was being rude to her. My daughter told her daddy that she was scared (from the verbal altercation happening in the office) and Barbara Caldwell addressed my daughter by saying "He's scaring me, too." We really enjoy the healthcare - when we can get them to provide it. I am not sure healthcare is their PRIMARY concern when they turn away a minor who has a sinus infection on a weekend (when they otherwise have no other patients in the parking lot) because although the minor has seen 2 doctors throughout the year via a referral from their primary, its been a little over a year since the minor (who has otherwise not needed to see the primary) had their annual visit to the clinic across the street. No worries. We went elsewhere and let our insurance pay for a visit at a non tribal clinic. And no we are not going to make it a habit to visit the primary annually when there is no need - when the minor has multiple visits a year with specialists, we aren't adding unnecessary visits just

Just tried to come here for a uti.. my son and I sat and waited for someone to come to the car. Like they said.. No one did so I was going to walk in. They watched me get my 2 yr old out and everything before deciding to come out and told me to get back in vehicle!! Mind you its 32° outside and I came around 11:20 am. I left at 12:01 p.m. I left to go to a clinic in moore who said my wait time would be 10 mins max. If you can go somewhere else. They do not wanna help anyone. Oh.. n there was only 3 cars besides mine. So not very busy

USE AS A LAST RESORT. RUDE & INCOMPETENT STAFF. Even though this a Urgent care. You probably would have better luck at a free clinic in OKC you'd get the same rude treatment. Many of the nurse staff and providers are rude to patients especially to those patients that are tribal members.
