I love Dr. Rizo. She was a great doctor and kind and professional with us. However, the front desk staff and technology this office use ruin the experience and actually become a real threat to children's health and safety. The office refused to give me records up front after every appointment. It took me 6 months to realize they had been putting all sorts of extraordinary and incorrect information on my child's record. Inaccurate information about my marital status, where my child lives, allergy information, and developmentally inappropriate comments like that my child under 1 couldn't draw a straight line with a crayon. The worst part of this office is the front desk staff. If any mom wants to avoid headaches, I highly recommend finding another pediatrician. The two women who work there are extremely rude and unprofessional — they don’t care about you or your child’s health. It’s a shame because the doctors might be good, but the experience is completely ruined by the front desk.

Avoid this office if you can! If I could give zero stars I would! I was told they did not require vaccines when I called weeks before I scheduled an appointment, so today I brought my 7 month old in to see Dr. Maria Rizo for the first time and I honestly should’ve left from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff is very unwelcoming, had a bad attitude and look like they just sit around and gossip. In the room i was given a form to sign for declining vaccines at this time and once Dr. Rizo came in she kept bringing up vaccines saying “ oh this is becoming more and more common and it’s not good for my practice or our children, and why do you not want to vaccinate” when I replied “ oh just personal reasons” she said “well did your mom vaccinate you?” At this point I should’ve walked ou

My children have been seeing Maria Rizo for many years. We have been very supportive and loyal patients. We have waited extensive period of times, receive inadequate information, and sometimes debatable customer service. Most recently were told by the doctor that she was not aware as to what happened in the front desk, what the nurses do or did in the back and it was my responsibility to remind her what she needed to do. This is inappropriate, I do not need to remind her of her job responsibilities nor am I responsible for her staff.

Can’t get ahold of the office straight to voicemail every time. Canceled all appointments back in November/December and still getting appointment notifications
