My 16-year-old son DJ had a traumatic arm injury in a UTV roll over accident. Dr Abby Howenstein was the Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon on call. She was able to save DJ’s left arm and also his hand. We are very thankful that he can live a normal life. My son was able even able to suit up and play HS Varsity football that same season. Thank you!

Let me start by saying "look no further" for an orthopedic provider/surgeon. Dr. Howenstein treated my daughter at UMC trauma center after she was in a catastrophic car accident. Her most significant injury was a open femur fracture. She explained the surgical procedure before my daughter (33 yrs. old) was taken into surgery, she was reassuring and compassionate. Once the surgery was over Dr. Howenstein came out and provided our family with an even more comprehensive overview of the procedure and recovery. As a clinical consultant of 15 years I've encountered countless physicians, but none like Dr. Howenstein. Don't let her youth fool you, she's exceptionally talented, empathetic, and understands that care is to be centered around the patient. There is no inflated ego, no poor bedside mann

Dr. Abby Howenstein is one of the nicest, caring, & knowledgeable ortho doctors in Las Vegas! My 1 yo broke his femur and it was already devastating to me, but she made the appointment a seamless experience. She is not rude nor does she rush you. She listened to all my concerns and explained everything in a way that someone not knowledgeable would understand. She is young but this is her calling!!! She is one of those doctors that are meant to be in healthcare, thank you! God bless her!

Dr howenstein put me back together after getting hit head on by a esclade while I was on my dirt bike. She is my hero saved my life and I can still walk she did a great job. I have alot of metal in me and it was placed with precision the scares are healing. great can't even tell she worked on my knee she Is a very smart beautiful person whom I will forever look up too. My boyfriend was seen at UMC TRAUMA for an explosion and Dr Abby did surgery on his right compound fx leg. She was amazing and the staff at her office was also fantastic. They don't just treat you like a number. They treat everyone so well.
