986 Pharmacy - Whittier

Bright Plaza pharmacy, since being taken over by 986 pharmacy is an utter disaster. From reduced operating hours, to a useless phone system and texting refill system, to prescriptions not done in time. Either you fix this disaster or we are moving my entire family prescriptions to CVS. (Which is further away but worth it). Seems like a corporate takeover of a family run type business was not in the best interest of it's customers. I've been with Bright Plaza for upwards of 30 years!... and now? What a disaster. Update: Since my first review, (3 stars) the farmacy has gone to great strides to not only update their computer system, but also the reordering automated system with QR code prescription receipts. Bright Plaza has been the most reliable, friendly and informative pharmacy I’ve been to. Whether I have a question regarding medication, or need help contacting my own doctor, they have proven to be more reliable than any of my doctors. Toby and his team truly are doing a great job at their pharmacy and I definitely recommend to give them a visit and meet their friendly team.

Excellent customer service. Was looking for a walker for my injured son and they were super helpful to guide me on the best one for his size. So glad that we can shop locally and get our products the same day! Thank you Bright Plaza Pharmacy team!

I find Whittier Drugs to be a great pharmacy. They recently remodeled and are not huge but have what we need. The staff is professional and always friendly and are always willing to help out with what they can. Right now they have free cotton balls so that's also a plus!
