Went in to see if they were serving Flu shots and the clerk points down and says to look at the paper he posted. Thats a cool paper, but I asked you. I talk to humans not paper. I asked you a question. Not the craziest negative but the immunization clerks are typically headaches to deal with. Dismissive and careless. Some of the Airmen are nice in the back offices and my provider is a genuinely decent person. Clerks just aren't up to par.
Worst "medical care" I've had my entire life. I can't ever get ahold of anyone, make appointments, or get my medications. Better off just going to urgent care, which NOT how medical care should be.
I called the mental health clinic an exact 6 times over an hour. On the 6th call I figured it would be faster to drive exactly 22 minutes from Portales to the med group to cancel an appointment. I left a livid message telling them that I’d be pissed if it was faster for me to drive the 20 minutes and cancel the appointment in person. Sure enough, I got there, and I canceled the appointment. To make sure the mistake wasn’t on my end, I clarified what their phone number was to ensure I had it right. I did have it right. Their excuse? They had one person in the back answering phones and the phone has been ringing “off the hook”. This raises 2 questions: 1) if it’s ringing, why aren’t you answering? I bet most of the phone calls were mine and they simply weren’t answered. If the phone is bus
The fact that they call themselves special operations is entertaining. Laziest collection of medical providers assembled. They have so many off days or part time days they should be only paid for part time work. Their favorite word is no. I cannot believe I miss being on army bases. They at least work.
Both techs and clinicians like to make you feel like a burden for making a face to face follow up appointment about issues causing great anxiety. Tech will make you feel like an idiot for even coming in to be checked out even though you have an actual appointment time dedicated to you, and then interrupt your appointment to let the NP know the next patient is ready. No care, no help. Why even get into healthcare if you're acting like that to patients. Better off going to urgent care in town. Pediatric, lab, vaccine, women's health have all been great but the family health side of this med group is beyond worthless.
