1st Family dental-West Roseland

My first time going to them was today for tooth pain. All the times I drove up 111th, I had no clue about this place. Literally a 5-6 minute drive to get there. The receptionist was professional and was expecting me at 8:30 as I said on the phone. I was a few minutes late lol. She was welcoming. The environment over all was warming, welcoming, and friendly. The dental assistant was professional and friendly. Dr. Thamby was professional. He answered all my questions and wrote two prescriptions for me. I was referred to an endodontist and that appt is tomorrow morning. I will be a returning patient to this dental clinic for sure. Aspen Dental, count your days. Such a disappointment. They didn’t seem to care that I was in so much pain.

I appreciate the timeliness and friendliness, however I did not appreciate my teeth NOT being flossed after the gritty polish. When I asked for floss, the hygienist handed me some floss and washed me floss, my teeth, then commented “at least you know how to do it”. It is unfortunate that professionals have decreased their level of thoroughness in their work, yet they their to be compensated for excellence.

This place is a complete Joke! Certain dentist ONLY are allowed to do certain things and they don’t tell you this until you come in for a visit (just to bill the insurance). The front desk lady is incompetent and uneducated, she was supposed to write me a prescription NEVER did. Then another black lady there tells me she could’ve gave me the pills at the office no need for a prescription. Like why is EVERYONE here on two different pages with the communication. The dentist turn over rate is at an all time high. If your dentist isn’t the for your scheduled appointment, they’ll just have another dentist come from elsewhere where and then he/she cannot do everything that you might need done because this isn’t the dental office they belong too! So again they just waist your time and try to get

Very good experience. New doctor but did and excellent job cleaning my teeth. His assistant was good as well. Yes i highly recommend them.

My appt went great. I was on time for my appointment and assisted right away. My teeth cleaning went well. Very warm and friendly environment and I highly recommend.
