1st Choice Urgent Care of Clinton Township

Care was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Waited a while. They took back someone for a drug test prior to my child with strep throat. He was talking loudly on speaker phone in the waiting room and dropping f bombs and other profanities and complaining about the wait while my 5 year old and I sat waiting. I kindly asked him to watch his language and lightly covered my kids ears to get my point across. He looked at me like I had 2 heads. 🤷‍♀️ It was not busy by any means, not sure what took so long. They apologized for the wait... Was on a time constraint because I had other children to pick up from school. Maybe some signage regarding phone calls in waiting room and language would be helpful. Staff should have asked him to hang up that phone.

Will never return. Last time I went it was a good experience. This time around my 3 year old had a fever of 103 at home and was acting lethargic. Nurse says no fever.. even though he is BURNING up. The nurse swabbed him for Covid flu and rsv. The doctor comes in and he did not know how to interact with my child, as if he’s never been around a child. Then proceeds to tell me he’s concerned it’s strep and is going to have the nurse come back in for strep test. TWO MINUTES LATER he comes back in and says he’s going to treat him for strep and the Covid flu and rsv tests came back NEGATIVE. The nurse never even tested him for strep…. We left and I felt like something was not right. His brother has had strep before… this wasn’t strep symptoms. Drove straight to Troy Beaumont Hospital…. They too

Amazing staff here, always smiling, polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend during your times of illness. Very quick in and out and typically feel much better on my way home.

Booking appointment online and the paperwork was super easy. Very quick but thorough, I was seen right away and I was out in 20 minutes. Unfortunately I tested positive for the flu, but I am happy that I got great care. Definitely will be my go to urgent care!

I had a great experience at this urgent care. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional from start to finish. I was seen quickly, and the provider took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. Highly recommend!
